In our country there are 20 million couples who suffer from infertility of which the male factor contributes to 30-40% . It can be due to low sperm count , low motility of the sperms or erectile dysfunction.
when it comes to man infertility many medicines are available in market now , to get out of these odds .But problem is mos of us feel shy to talk about our problem . Viagra a very effective medicine for ED is often compared with for having pleasure only ..but that's not true it can actually help people to get rid of there odds too , beyond sexual pleasures.
These are common problems and can happen because of infection , stress or hormonal imbalances.Infections can be treated with antibiotics.
The count can be increased by using medications , but if one does not get results in 3 months then the couple should be advised IUI ( intrauterine insemination).
Those couples who have not succedded with IUI can have baby doing ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) or popularly known as test tube baby, this is the procedure in which the baby (embroy) is created outside the body and then placed back into the womb. The woman is given hormonal injections so that she produce 10-15 eggs. These eggs are then retrieved from the body. It takes 15-20 mins and is done under anesthesia and the patient goes home 2 hours later then with the machine called the micromanipulator one sperm is injected into one egg . Two days later the embroys are put back into the womb. A blodd test 14 days later confirms the pregnancy. The success arte of this varies from 30-50% for men with zero counts of sperm can be obtained directly from the test. Infact today we can say taht "No Man Is Infertile"
Smiles.
